Official Rules
Please read these rules before entering.
Eligibility
Open to the public. Children and teens enter in the division matching their age; adults may enter the All Ages – Advanced Division only.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
Entry Limits
One entry per contestant in their age-appropriate division.
One additional entry per contestant in the All Ages – Advanced Division.
A contestant may therefore submit up to two different pieces of artwork if eligible — never the same artwork twice.
Submission Methods and Deadlines
Online: upload at mycountrychristmas.com from October 16 through November 15, 2026, 11:59 PM Pacific.
In person: drop off completed artwork at Country Pumpkins, 7152 CA-32, Orland, CA 95963, from October 16 through October 31, 2026, between 10 AM and 6 PM any day.
If the online upload tool is not working for you, email a photo of your artwork and your entry information to Mycountrychristmas@gmail.com by the same November 15 deadline, and the organizer will enter it for you.
Entries received after the applicable deadline will not be accepted.
Original Artwork Requirement
Each entry must be the contestant’s own original, hand-created artwork.
No AI-Generated or AI-Colored Artwork
Artwork created or substantially generated by artificial intelligence tools is not eligible.
This includes using an AI tool to color, shade, or otherwise fill in a printed coloring sheet in place of coloring it by hand — the coloring itself must be the contestant’s own work, not just the original line art. Entries identified as AI-generated or AI-colored will be disqualified.
Public Display of Artwork
Approved entries are published together on the contest voting page, identified only by an anonymous entry number — no contestant names are shown publicly.
Artwork Ownership and Usage Rights
The contestant (or their parent/guardian, for minors) retains ownership of their original artwork. Entering the contest does not transfer that ownership to Country Christmas.
By submitting an entry, the contestant and their parent/guardian grant Country Christmas a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to display and reproduce the artwork on the contest voting page, and to use it in Country Christmas promotional materials, on its website, and on its social media channels, both during and after the contest.
Anonymous Public Voting
The public may vote for their favorite entry in each division. No account, registration, or email verification is required to vote.
Entries are shown by anonymous entry number only; vote totals are never displayed publicly.
Voting Deadlines
Public voting opens November 17, 2026, once all approved artwork is published, and closes November 26, 2026 at 9 PM Pacific.
Prize Descriptions
Ages 3–5, 6–8, 9–12, and 13–18 divisions: $50 cash + a Country Christmas S’mores Kit.
All Ages – Advanced Division: a 6–7 ft Noble Fir Christmas tree + a Country Christmas S’mores Kit (no cash prize in this division).
Winner Selection and Notification
The entry with the most votes in each division, at the close of voting, wins that division’s prize.
Winners are announced November 27, 2026 and notified using the contact information provided on their entry form.
Fraudulent Voting
Votes identified as fraudulent, automated, or made in bad faith may be removed at the organizer’s discretion, and repeat offenders’ votes may be disregarded in a division.
Tie-Breaking Procedure
If two or more entries in the same division are tied for the most votes at the close of voting, the entry that was submitted earliest (by submission timestamp) wins that division’s prize.
Privacy and Data Handling
Contestant name, age, parent/guardian name, email, and phone number are collected only for eligibility verification and prize fulfillment, and are never displayed publicly.
This information is visible only to contest administrators and is not shared with third parties except as needed to deliver a prize.
